QwikSeal QT2540 2-Part Kit Seals & Dries Systems a professional-grade, two-part kit designed to seal leaks in HVAC and refrigeration systems ranging from 1.5 to 6 tons. It uniquely combines a moisture-removing pretreatment with advanced sealing technology to ensure the sealant only reacts at the leak site rather than within the system itself.
- Two-Part System: Consists of Part A (Drying Agent) and Part B (Sealant).
- Moisture Removal: Part A is designed to remove up to 26 drops of water from the system's oil or refrigerant. According to Qwik.com, a single half-ounce treatment can drop moisture levels in 15 ounces of oil by approximately 3,000 ppm.
- Leak Capacity: Proven to completely seal vapor line leaks as large as 5.8 pounds per year. It may not completely seal liquid line leaks greater than 0.1 pound per year.
- Compatibility: Safe for use with all oils and refrigerants.
- Application Requirements: Requires the QwikInjector QT2510 for introduction into the system.
