PT-3 TIME RELEASE PAN TREATMENT UP TO 5 TON

• Time-Release Technology: Uses water-activated polymer technology that remains dormant when dry and activates only when moisture is present, providing long-lasting protection.
• Algae & Slime Prevention: Specifically formulated to kill odor-causing bacteria and prevent the buildup of slime, fungi, algae, and sludge that can lead to clogged drain lines and overflows.
• • Odor Control: Eliminates musty odors caused by biological growth and often adds a light, pleasant scent to the air.
  • Corrosion Protection: Many versions include corrosion inhibitors to prevent premature failure of metal drain pans. 
  Application & Installation
  1. Placement: Place the treatment in the primary condensate drain pan.
  2. Location: Position it between the cooling coil and the drain opening, ideally in an area away from the immediate drain hole to ensure it intercepts the water path without blocking the exit.
  3. Adherence: Once activated by moisture, many strips will adhere to the pan to prevent them from floating or moving toward the drain.
  4. Replacement: For 2025 maintenance, it is recommended to replace the treatment at least every 6 months to ensure year-round protection.
