Neutralizer, Oil, RX-Acid, 2 oz Bottle, Liquid, Straw, 40 to 70% Benzene, C14-30-Alkyl Derivatives, 148.9 degF Flash Point, 599 degF Boiling Point
- Application: Specifically formulated for HVAC/R systems to prevent future compressor burnouts and eliminate acid build-up.
- Lubricant Compatibility: Compatible with all standard oils, including mineral, alkylbenzene, polyol ester (POE), and polyvinyl ether (PVE).
- Dosage: A standard 2 fl. oz. bottle treats up to one gallon of system oil.
- Safety: It is system-safe and leaves no harmful by-products.
Usage Instructions-
For Compressor Burnouts:
- Remove and dispose of contaminated oil and refrigerant.
- Replace the burned-out compressor.
- Add Rx-Acid Scavenger directly into the compressor or inject it using a universal treatment injector (such as Part #4779-0).

- Verify acid levels using a test kit like the Phase III Acid Test Kit.
- Add the required dosage based on the system's oil capacity to neutralize developing acid conditions.
